The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA), representing more than 215,000 RNs in Pennsylvania, will host a continuing education series titled “Medical Marijuana: Myths & Medicine.”

As medical cannabis continues to be used in surrounding states and possibly Pennsylvania – nurses and healthcare workers must understand the history and medical uses of this plant.

This continuing education presentation features PSNA CEO Betsy M. Snook, MEd, RN, BSN, PSNA Director of Professional Development Aislynn Moyer, DNP, RN and Kathleen Dunkleberger.  It covers the history, the effects on the central nervous system, Pennsylvania legislation and national highlights.
