Nurses' Medical Cannabis Workshop: A Clinical Focus

United Patients Group and Green Health Consultants are presenting a one-day seminar entitled "Nurses' Medical Cannabis Workshop: A Clinical Focus."  It will be presented twice in different Northern California locales.  On Friday, October 21st, the seminar will be presented in Lafayette, California.  On October 22nd the seminar will move to San Rafael.  Each day the class will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch is included in the $225 registration fee. Regardless of which day you attend there will be six (6) contact hours awarded.

The course is designed for nurses and healthcare professionals and will be presented by two ACNA members, Alice O'Leary-Randall and Eloise Theisen.  Among the topics to be addressed are: 

  • Endocannabinoid System (ECS)
  • Cannabinoids and Terpenes
  • Clinical Implications
  • Dosing & Administrations
  • Drug to Drug Interactions
  • Along with covering conditions such as Cancer, Neurological Disorders, Chronic Pain and Geriatric considerations
  • Understanding FECO (Full Extract Cannabis Oil)
  • Legal Implications
  • Barriers/Advocacy/Resources
