I have had some difficulties getting organized and I believe I am not connected to (created a thread) the other nurses from California.  I live in Galt, CA which is approximately 30 miles from Sacramento.  I would like to meet up with anyone close and I may attend a SF meeting if nothing is available in my area.

Anyone have comments?  Is anyone else feeling lost?  Rick B

Hi Richard, does Meredith have your contact info? She is in charge of organizing our Bay Area Meet Up,Reply to the thread above this one that has her name with it and get on her email list. We have had 2 meetings so far with a third one towards the end of June.  I met several nurses from around the Sacramento area at the United Patients Group Conference last weekend.  The ACNA gave a pre conference workshop on Friday May 20th that was well attended. The nurses all expressed interest in having a "Meet Up" in the Sacramento area.

On June 20th the ACNA will be participating in the National Cannabis Industry Association at the Oakland Convention Center. Here is the agenda.

Richard, we have a member who lives up beyond Sonora who makes it to our meetings. If there still is nothing happening in the Sacramento - Stockton area you should come join us too in SF.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and also find out more about the California meet ups. I live in SF, but travel to Sacramento etc a lot for work. I work for University San Francisco's School of Nursing and Health Profession as an Outreach Coordinator and Educational Partnership liaison. I just became a member and cannot wait to meet like-minded nurses and start collaborating with you all!

Would love to meet you all soon and discuss the implications of Prop 64 passing. I am considering opening up a wellness boutique that provides mainly CBD-rich products and I will be there with other health experts to provide health advocacy, guidance and navigation.

Very excited to have found you guys and look forward to being an active member of the ACNA! Live Well, Emi Tomijima

    Rick,

I live up in Twain Harte and attend the SF meet-ups. I usually drive over to Dublin-Pleasanton and then BART into SF. I would love to find a closer group to attend, although I would never give up on my SF friends.
