    Maryland Nurses:

We are happy to announce a medical collaboration of professionals within the medical cannabis community of Maryland. Our group of dedicated Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists are working in a unified mission to bring the critical education of Cannabinoid Therapeutics to our State. Our last meeting March 9,2017 was amazing! Please notify if you would like to receive a copy of our last agenda and minutes.

In that light, United Patients Group, has put Maryland on the map to have the VERY FIRST Physicians, Nurses and Pharmaceutical Training Seminar of it's kind! Devoted to excellence and continuity of practice, this organization is the first to present a FULL course in the Pharmacology and Toxicology of Cannabinoid Therapeutics for Pharmacists in the industry in the COUNTRY!

We are very excited to bring this news and hope you can arrange to attend!

Hi, I recently moved to NC from MD but am still licensed in the state and would like to be a part of the ACNA community there.

Welcome to ACNA. We have a group of medical professionals committed to teaching and spreading the word! Our program is rolling out nicely, and we continue to reach out to our Commission, dispensaries and patients. Please email at or call 410-967-3183 . In light of the booming medical cannabis dispensary industry in MD, is there an opportunity for another MeetUp for us RNs to share ideas, direction, etc. since there has not been one since 2017?

If none in the works, I'm open to hosting one in a central location (I live in Baltimore), just so we can put faces on the names and network with food and drinks. Would love for the WeCANN MD tenured members to join to share their journey stories.

Email me at if there is interest. Of course, please feel free to connect here so we can all see the response :)

I would be very interested in a Meet Up Meeting in MD. I live in Southern Calvert County. Our Dispensary is scheduled to open this month or early March. Baltimore is about a 2 hour trip for me. How does Annapolis sound as a possibility?

I do serve on the MD State BON and need to travel to Baltimore at least once a month. Keep me posted if a meeting can be arranged. Emalie

I am also interested in a meet up. I am located just north of Baltimore. I could meet in Baltimore or Annapolis. I may email those of you who listed your email address. I am mostly free on the weekends.

With the great expansion of interest, I will organize another meeting. I am thrilled to see so many nurses working in the Maryland industry! We have been fighting to keep medical professionals in our dispensaries. Will an event in Columbia work for everyone? I am in Frederick. I will get a venue. My email is Please connect there so I can add you to my membership list and "Let's do this!" So much to talk about! Nurse Baker...let me know when you will be in town. It is imperative we speak to someone on the BON. Thank you for looking into this area of science! Welcome everyone. Please review our Scope of Practice developed by our President and Executive Committee.

My number is 410-967-3183 if anyone needs questions answered regarding dispensaries, the law or a patient in the meantime. I am willing to help in any capacity needed to create a trusted group of nurses advocating for education! I will arrange a member of the Commission to meet with us as well!
