    Natalie,

I am very new to this and know almost nothing.  I did take the training and certified as a medical marijuana consultant with the state, but I am not in an area to use that.  My primary interest is in education. I have an MSN in Nursing Education with a Focus on Distance Learning.  I own a healthcare training company that teaches primarily online and in virtual classrooms.  I would like to develop a track of cannabis education courses, but realize I need to learn a lot more to be able to do that.  I would love to be part of a group of experienced nurses. Please let me know if you start forming a group.  I have all the technology to host "virtual meetings" for you if you would like that resource.  I live on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands.

    Robin,

Thanks so much for the reply! I'm a nurse educator working in Seattle. I  took the consultant certification course and the TMCI nursing course last year and next week, I'll be speaking at a nursing conference on cannabis and pain management. I will certainly be in touch regarding any progress of forming a meetup group, but I'd love an opportunity to connect with you regarding your virtual training company. I think you're really on to something! Please feel free to email me at the email address listed in the ACNA member directory.

    With gratitude, Natalie

    Hello!

I too would like to meet up.  I live east of Bellingham, and a PACU RN in Puyallup.  I'm currently enrolled in WGU MSN Educator program, and have an interest in distance learning as well.  I'd like to learn more about the licensure with the state as a cannabis nurse.

I have completed the Medical Cannabis Curriculum for Nurses on TMCI, and just watched the webinar on the ECS that ACNA offered....it was really interesting!!!

Look forward to meeting more nurses in our area!!

    Good Morning :)

My name is Charlie. I grew up in PA, lived in MD, PA, and now WA. I have worked in rehab, ER, primary, urgent care, missionary, and camp nursing over the past 6 years. Cannabis nursing has taken over my passion for future unconventional nursing.

I am very interested in participating, contributing, and activating a WA group. I have competed the 12 hour course, been fiddling with the idea of how to begin a consulting business, currently working as a budtender, and ready to take some action.

I am in the Tacoma/Seattle area. Wednesdays are a great day for me to schedule a time in person or online. I have so many ideas, questions, and passions about our nursing cannabis industry.

When are ya'll ready to meet?!

    With Kindness

    Charlie
